María Zardoya of The Marias Makes Her Belgian Debut Next Month with Promising Solo Project ‘Not for Radio’: on Sunday April 19, 2026 at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp!
María Zardoya, the singer of alt-pop sensation The Marias, brings her successful solo project Not for Radio to Belgium for the first time on Sunday, April 19, with an exclusive show at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp. The show is part of the selective “In The Forest: Europe & UK” tour, which includes only four stops – Italy, Belgium, the United Kingdom, and France – in support of her acclaimed debut album Melt, released in October 2025. Following an almost instantly sold-out tour in the U.S., this European tour promises an intimate, immersive live experience that Belgian fans will not want to miss!
The announcement follows a triumphant run of North American theatre dates, with Rolling Stone praising the production as a “magical live show”. The U.S. run sold out almost instantly, prompting additional dates to be added due to overwhelming demand.
The limited European stretch will see stops in Milan, Antwerp and London, before concluding with a final night in Paris. The run marks Not for Radio’s first-ever tour across the EU and UK - and the only European dates in support of Melt.
Not for Radio marks a bold new chapter for Zardoya, offering a raw, introspective counterpoint to her work with The Marías. While the band continues its rise following their 2024 breakthrough Submarine - which earned them a Grammy Best New Artist nomination, reached No. 17 on the Billboard 200, and delivered their first Hot 100 single, “No One Noticed”- Not for Radio asserts a distinct creative identity of its own.
Released in October 2025, the debut album ‘Melt’ peaked at No. 13 on the Billboard 200 - a powerful feat for a solo project. The ten-track record is an alchemy of grief, solitude, and creative communion, unfolding in real time as Zardoya, alongside artist-producer Sam Evian and producer/instrumentalist Luca Buccellati, unplugged from the outside world and immersed themselves in nature and sound. The result is a deeply transportive body of work that positions Zardoya not just as a vocalist, but as a multidimensional force with a singular vision.
Don’t miss María Zardoya’s highly anticipated debut concert with Not for Radio on Sunday, April 19 at the Queen Elisabeth Hall in Antwerp! Tickets go on sale Friday, March 20 at 10:00 AM.
Not For Radio has partnered with PLUS1 so that €1.28 per ticket supports The Marías Foundation and their work to build a community where everyone feels valued and has the chance to thrive.
