Wim Vanlessen is a celebrated principal ballet dancer with a career spanning twenty-five years. Knighted Chevalier in the order of Leopold in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the cultural arts in Belgium, he has been an international ambassador for dance representing Opera Ballet Vlaanderen —on and off the stage.

For this first edition of Time to Dance, Wim Vanlessen brings top level ballet and dance performances on the stage for a broad audience.The event will introduce and enthuse young audiences to the beauty and mastercraft of classical, neoclassical and modern ballet.

Wim Vanlessen brings the world’s finest dancers together on stage for a series of performances that celebrate ballet in presenting renowned dance pieces of acclaimed choreographers.

Before the start of the dance gala, everyone receives a glass of champagne. VIP ticket holders also enjoy a glass of champagne and a gala party with walking dinner afterwards.
Dansersfonds
This special performance is the kick-off event to launch the Dansersfonds Foundation. The gala will be an important source of income for the Foundation. The Mission of the Danserfonds is to provide sponsorship to encourage aspiring talented dancers in the development of their career. It is also there to identify and actively support upcoming talent through mentoring programs and specialized training.
