The atmosphere at the Antwerp Symphony Orchestra’s Club Concerts is always very laidback. The evening starts with a short programme featuring highlights of classical music, in a casual ambience, with humorous introductions by a famous host. On this occasion, you will get to hear works by Leos Janáček and John Adams, who liked to draw on folk stories for inspiration, like so many other composers before him. In this instance, John Adams was inspired by Scheherazade and the tales of the Arabian nights. Comic revelation Jade Mintjens is your MC for the evening, which ends with an afterparty in the lounge!
