This fall, the Queen Elisabeth Hall will become heaven on earth for fans of Queens of the Stone Age. The American rock band is coming to Antwerp on Monday, October 27 with ‘The Catacombs Tour’ for a unique evening in a magnificent setting.

The inspiration for The Catacombs Tour came from the intense experience the band members of Queens of the Stone Age shared while creating their concert film ‘Alive in the Catacombs’, which was released in June. That session, recorded in the mysterious atmosphere of the Paris catacombs, is the starting point for a series of intimate performances in which the band completely reinvents its music. Specially for this tour, entirely new arrangements were written, inspired by the haunting vibe of the underground universe.

The show at the Queen Elisabeth Hall promises to be a completely different experience from their performance as the closing act at Pukkelpop this year. With additional musicians, surprising reworkings of their songs, and an intimate atmosphere, Queens of the Stone Age will take you on a musical journey unlike anything you’ve ever experienced from them before.

Laura-Mary Carter, best known as one half of the acclaimed rock band Blood Red Shoes, is stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist. Having spent much of her life on the road as a touring musician, she is now ready to take centre stage with music under her own name. After debuting with a compelling EP in 2021, Laura-Mary returns with a sound that defies expectations, drawing inspiration from iconic acts like The Velvet Underground, Broadcast, and Elvis. This marks a bold new chapter in her journey—one not to be missed.
