Wim Vanlessen PRESENTS “Time to Dance” in collaboration with Koningin Elisabethzaal

Wim Vanlessen is a celebrated principal ballet dancer with a career spanning twenty-five years. Knighted Chevalier in the order of Leopold in recognition of his extraordinary contribution to the cultural arts in Belgium, he has been an international ambassador for dance representing the Royal Ballet Flanders: on and off the stage.

THE MISSION

For this fourth edition of Time to Dance, Wim Vanlessen brings top level ballet and dance performances on the stage for a broad audience. The event will introduce and enthuse young audiences to the beauty and mastercraft of classical, neoclassical and modern ballet.

This special performance benefits the Dansersfonds Foundation.

The gala is an important source of income for the Foundation. The Mission of the Danserfonds is to provide a source of sponsorship to encourage aspiring talented dancers in the development of their career.

It is also there to identify and actively support upcoming talent through mentoring programs and specialized training.
