Wheelchair users
Wheelchair users are most welcome in the Queen Elisabeth Hall. Wheelchair spaces are available in the concert hall. Inform us via tickets@elisabethcenter.be that you are a wheelchair user and our team will allocate you easily accessible seats.
The entire building is wheelchair-friendly. This means that all rooms are accessible via lifts or ramp slopes. The control panel in the lift is adapted to wheelchair height. In the Atrium, underneath the Queen Elisabeth Hall, there are three accessible toilets. Free wheelchairs are available upon request.
Hearing impaired
Hearing loop
The Queen Elisabeth Hall is equipped with a hearing loop for people with hearing impairments. This allows you to follow what is happening on stage without being disturbed by ambient noise. You can use the hearing loop by configuring your hearing aid to the ‘T’ setting.
MobileConnect
With Sennheiser’s MobileConnect app, you can stream the sound from the stage directly to your hearing aid, cochlear implant, headphones etc. via your smartphone.
We recommend installing the app on your smartphone in advance. It is available in the App Store and the Google Play Store. This way, you can check straight away whether your smartphone connects smoothly to your hearing aid.
In the Queen Elisabeth Hall, you can then log in to the Wi‑Fi network ‘KMDA DPSK’ (password: ECAconnect) to be able to use MobileConnect.
Please note: we always try to transmit the sound as quickly as possible, but occasionally a slight delay is unavoidable. Are you experiencing an echo effect during the show? Here are a few tips:
- Try to reduce ambient noise via your hearing aid settings
- Use headphones that fully cover your ears, preferably a wired pair (no Bluetooth)
